CarExpert reserves the right to amend campaign dates or process stages if required. Any changes will be communicated directly to shortlisted candidates.

Who can apply?

Applicants must have a full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence
Applicants must be available to travel within New Zealand and internationally (as required)
The role is based in Auckland, with regular travel required
Open to New Zealand citizens and permanent residents, aged 18 years or over

This campaign forms part of a formal recruitment process for a senior role.

Editorial standards and independence

CarExpert is committed to editorial independence, integrity and transparency
Applicants must disclose any current/recent commercial relationships with automotive manufacturers, dealerships, agencies or related businesses that could reasonably be perceived as a conflict of interest
By applying, applicants acknowledge CarExpert’s editorial standards and agree to uphold these principles if appointed

Use of application videos and content

By submitting a video as part of the application process, applicants:

confirm that all submitted content is their original work
give CarExpert permission to use, reproduce, edit and publish application videos (in full or in part) across CarExpert’s digital, social, PR and marketing channels
acknowledge that submitted videos may be publicly shared as part of the campaign
agree that no financial compensation will be provided for the use of application content.

Travel and expenses

Reasonable travel and accommodation costs for shortlisted finalists invited to Auckland for the filming challenge will be confirmed directly with those candidates
Applicants are responsible for their own costs associated with preparing and submitting application material

Employment terms

This campaign does not constitute an offer of employment
The successful candidate will be engaged under a formal employment agreement with CarExpert New Zealand
