And then this in the body
Kia ora koutou, New Zealand, your local New Car Specialist has arrived.
CarExpert is launching in New Zealand, with one clear purpose: to help Kiwi drivers buy the right new car, faster and with confidence.
Known in Australia for independent reviews, real-world testing and straight-talk advice, CarExpert is expanding in partnership with Trade Me, and we’re doing it properly. Local expertise. Local testing. Local voice.
To lead that charge, we’re looking for a Kiwi presenter to become the on-screen face and editorial voice of CarExpert NZ.

As Lead Presenter & Automotive Editor
for CarExpert NZ, you will:
Greg Murphy knows what it takes to perform under pressure, earn trust, and build credibility over time.
Hear why he’s backing CarExpert New Zealand, the standards he believes matter in automotive media, and what he’s looking for in the person who will front this brand in New Zealand.
Is genuinely knowledgeable about cars and how people actually use them
Can explain complex things simply, without dumbing them down
Has strong judgement and isn’t afraid to ask “why?”
Is happy carrying responsibility and being accountable for what you say
Is looking for a role where your voice, decisions and standards genuinely matter.
Is confident, comfortable and credible on camera
If your idea of a great day involves driving the newest cars on the market, debating boot space like it genuinely matters, putting $200k off-roaders through their paces, and calling out EV claims that don’t quite stack up, you’ll feel right at home here.
But this is more than just presenting videos. This is a senior, hands-on role at the centre of CarExpert’s New Zealand launch. You’ll be trusted to represent the brand publicly, set editorial standards, and help build credibility with Kiwi car buyers from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to combine passion, authority and impact - and to help shape the future of car buying in New Zealand.
